Advanced Professional Learning for Educators
The Level 7 Certificate in Education is intended for experienced or graduate-level educators who want to examine teaching, learning, curriculum, assessment and reflective practice at an advanced level. The programme requires sustained academic work and evidence of professional application.
Programme Focus
Learners may engage with contemporary learning theory, curriculum and assessment design, evidence-informed teaching, professional inquiry, observation and critical reflection. Publish only the modules contained in the current approved specification.
Evidence and Academic Expectations
Candidates should expect postgraduate-level reading and writing, properly referenced assignments, lesson or scheme-of-work evidence, observation or practice requirements, and revision where assessment criteria are not met.
Qualification Status
Do not use “PGCE-equivalent,” “Ofqual accredited center,” “QTS route” or guaranteed progression language without documented approval.
